Could be worse... could be raining

It's a line from the movie Young Frankenstein. In one scene, Dr. Frankenstein (Gene Wilder) and Igor (Marty Feldman) are standing in a newly dug hole in the ground in the middle of the night. Igor says, "Could be worse... could raining" and suddenly the clouds open and a deluge pours down on the two men. This line has become my "life motto" as I forge ahead despite the health challenges life has dealt me. It helps me keep things in perspective so I can find pleasure in the good things in life... great food (as long as my husband cooks it)... growing an organic garden (weeds and all)... and, if nothing else, a healthy dose of laughter daily (it keeps me from getting whiney).
